From Asian B-Movie film producer/ director Tomas Tang; head of Filmark International. Tomas originally worked with Godfrey Ho in the early 80's before splitting and makin' his own cut-n-paste cinema. Tang's cut-n-paste style is horrible and a fuckin' mess.
The junkyard trash - robocop man must destroy the evil Asian drug lord who is hiding his drug stash within a group of hopping vampires!
Here's an example of the awesome dialogue:"Now that Tom is dead, I want to use his body to create an android-like robot. I'd appreciate you approving my application."
- Bearded Guy
"You're assured of success?"
- Glen
"Yes."
- Bearded Guy
"Okay. It's approved."
- Glen
Aka "Savage Dawn."
Ya get about 80 minutes of car chases and crappy dialogue which is perfect for this type of flick. And ya get Jawas rip off midgets that jump out and shoot ya with bow n arrows! Those little fuckin' bastards.
This movie is available with the Grindhouse Experience 20 Film Set Vol. 2. If you like coming to this site and don't own it WTF are ya waiting for? Here's an action sequence clip from this 80's masterpieceofshit...Labels: mad max, post apocalyptic, rip off
I'm slammin' down yet another Enzo G. Castellari (Inglorious Bastards, Great White) directed feature. Why? Cause he's guaranteed to deliver the finest quality Italian trash cinema known to man.
If John Carpenter's Escape From New York and Walter Hill's The Warriors fucked and had a baby that baby would be The Bronx Warriors. The dialogue is horrendous, the lead character's name is Trash and the cheesy 80's hair-dos make this flick a winner.
Top all this off with a good amount of gore added to the action sequences...what more can I say. Nothing. Here's the original theatrical trailer.Labels: ass kickin, enzo, john carpenter, rip off, walter hill
Aka "Badi". This is the Turkish rip-off of E.T. and it's as bad as you think it is. This extra terrestrial is basically a midget in a trash bag! He's also reads porn mags and farts giant dust clouds. It's a beautiful thing. This version didn't have the budget to buy some Reese's Pieces candy, instead they use some candy that looks like a chunk of dirt n' gravel. Here's the ghetto recreation of bicycle scene:
Like other old school Turkish flicks this isn't subtitled. But really does it matter? It's practically a scene for scene rip-off. Check out this ridiculousness:
It's another title you can watch the majority of on youtube - so check it. I've decided to post a quick clip of E.T. farting. Instant classic.
WOW. This is some horrible shit! A grown man in an apesuit destroying model sets. It's waaaay outta hand my brotha. Also, this was originally released in 3-D, so you can expect to see stuff get blatantly thrown at the camera.
And here's the greatest 12 seconds I can possibly give ya. So watch it twice.Labels: king kong, pabst blue ribbon, rip off
I may have topped myself with this post. Yor is so much trashy fun just thinkin' about it makes me wanna watch it again.
Another great aspect is the theme song and I demand you listen now! So ridiculous. Damn, I need to get me a copy of that soundtrack.Labels: action, antonio margheriti, rip off, star wars
Aka Supermen Donuyor. It's time for a Turkish rip-off! Honestly, do the Turkish know how to do anything else? And damn, when they do it - its horribly bad slash awesome.
The best part of old school Turkish cinema is the films aren't subtitled or overdubbed. Luckily, everything is a U.S. rip off!
Great White aka The Last Shark is another one from everybody's favorite Italian director Enzo G. Castellari. It's the Jaws rip-off that caused Spielberg to force Universal to pull this out of theatres! Universal won the lawsuit and the movie was pulled from North American theaters shortly after its release.
This is the original T.V. spot with a "Great White" voice over guy to get ya all hyped up for this masterpiece of trash cinema!Labels: exploitation, jaws, rip off
The Deadly Spawn aka Return of The Aliens: The Deadly Spawn is an Alien rip-off flick. Actually the producers tried to add "Return" to the title to make it seem like the actual sequel to Alien. Tricky Bastards!
This flick is super gory. A must see for any fan of the genre. Luckily, Synapse Films has put out a quality DVD worthy of picking up.Labels: alien, ass kickin, blood, chainsaw, crazy, disturbed, horror, rip off
I figured what better time than to post a Raiders rip-off? Specifically, an Italian Raiders rip-off. All the Indy-like elements are here: ancient boobytraps, rats, snakes and even a giant rolling stone! Some scenes are shots of miniatures (model train sets) that look like...well, miniatures.
Overall, this is a fun rip-off if your into the Indy series and looking for a good laugh. Here's the Italian trailer...Labels: action, antonio margheriti, ass kickin, bad dialogue, Indiana Jones, rip off
The mother of all Star Wars rip-offs is Starcrash. A laugh out loud space opera that is so ridiculous it blows me to the back wall each time I view it.
Please tell me they have Starcrash action figures. If so, I want the bald green guy shown below.
Lock on to the trailer below. Stay on target, stay on target...Labels: bad dialogue, david hasselhoff, hot girl, rip off, star wars
Yup, you may have guessed by the title, this is a Terminator rip off. I'd sum up the plot, but I think you can figure it out.
I'd rather watch this over the James Cameron version any fuckin' day. Why you ask? This version has more sex, violence and mullets.
The DVD was released by Mondo Macabro and they did a great job on this disc. The transfer is decent, there's a doc on Indonesian exploitation cinema and alternate scenes. What more can you ask for from a rare film? Now watch the freakin' trailer!Labels: bad dialogue, Indonesian, rip off, sex, terminator
