Aka "Turkish Evil Dead."
This movie stars Cuneyt Arkin (Turkish Star Wars) who is considered to be the Turkish Harrison Ford! From what I gathered watching it he plays an inspector that must track down the invisible ninjas that are randomly killin' people. The ninja master is hardcore - he can move rocks with his mind and make them explode. Lucky bastard.
Damn, there's so much horrible awesomeness in this Turkish gem I could go on and on. Like when the ninja master turns into a burning rag doll or when the main characters randomly have different clothes on within the same scene. But continuity doesn't matter in the Turkish world and I highly recommend this flick. So go find it! Until that time - enjoy this scene, mofo's!Labels: ass kickin, evil dead, ninjas, turkish
Aka "Badi". This is the Turkish rip-off of E.T. and it's as bad as you think it is. This extra terrestrial is basically a midget in a trash bag! He's also reads porn mags and farts giant dust clouds. It's a beautiful thing. This version didn't have the budget to buy some Reese's Pieces candy, instead they use some candy that looks like a chunk of dirt n' gravel. Here's the ghetto recreation of bicycle scene:
Like other old school Turkish flicks this isn't subtitled. But really does it matter? It's practically a scene for scene rip-off. Check out this ridiculousness:
It's another title you can watch the majority of on youtube - so check it. I've decided to post a quick clip of E.T. farting. Instant classic.
Aka Supermen Donuyor. It's time for a Turkish rip-off! Honestly, do the Turkish know how to do anything else? And damn, when they do it - its horribly bad slash awesome.
The best part of old school Turkish cinema is the films aren't subtitled or overdubbed. Luckily, everything is a U.S. rip off!
