THE DAILY GRIND(HOUSE)
...We just cut up our girlfriend with a chainsaw. Does that sound "fine"?

This is a flick that doesn't come out until the end of the year and damn, I'm super hyped. It was picked up at Sundance this year and ever since the trailer dropped online I've been patiently waiting to see this motherfucking modern day tribute to blaxploitation cinema.

When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.
It stars Michael Jai White who has a boatload of trashy flicks under his belt. Honestly, all you have to do is take The Dark Knight outta his resume and it's all D-grade cinema. Damn, MJW you a baaaaad mutha.

Check the red band trailer below. Is it just me or does that voiceover dude sound just like Dolemite?

That's right bitches, The Daily Grindhouse is back! And back in black with the funk.

Here is Black Sister's Revenge aka Emma Mae. This fine film has a tagline of "Mess with her man and she'll bust your face."

Check tha plot..
.Emma's man may have beaten her up, but this dishy black sister still wants him back. The problem? How to get the green to spring him from the Big House. The solution? Rob a bank, of course!

This one is recommended. Find it on amazon for the price of three 40oz's n change. Right here.

The 70's afros and wild polyester are in effect in this flick. Damn, I want these threads. Ain't no muthafuckin' thrift shop in the world got these diggs. All gone with the times, my man.

Here's a big 10 minutes of this funky flick cause damn ninja, I don't play...

Some people like Stallone, for others Arnold, but I like Bronson. Now a simple post would be anything from the Death Wish series. C'mon, that shit is good...but it ain't Mr. Majestyk.

Written by Elmore Leonard ("Rum Punch" aka "Jackie Brown") so you know it's the real deal and Bronson has some classic lines in this classic piece of film history. Such as:

Bobby Kopas: It ain't sunk into that thick brain of yours yet. See, everything goes a lot easier and a lot less trouble when you're doing business with me. You understand what I'm talking about?
Vince Majestyk: You make sounds like you're a mean little ass-kicker... only I ain't convinced. You keep talking and I'm gonna take your head off.Nancy Chavez: If you want to go to bed with me, why don't you say so?
Vince Majestyk: I don't want to talk about it, I want to do it.

This is some quality shit especially if you're a 70's revenge flick kind of person. Now I understand I like to hype up the trailers I post, but this one is fucking great. Enjoy.

Aka "The Dragon Flies." Director Brian Trenchard-Smith ("Stunt Rock") takes my favorite Asian action hero Jimmy Wang Yu and showcases him under this Aussie production with a special appearance by Sammo Hung to boot. Oh yeah, George Lazenby ("On Her Majesty's Secret Service") plays a drug trafficking, gun toting evil son of a bitch with an arsenal of firepower that could take down any motherfucker in his way.

Right off the top this movie kicks ass from the beautiful locations all the way down to the edgy synthed out soundtrack. Even the opening title track called "SkyHigh" is very catchy and fits the pic perfectly. I need this friggin' soundtrack!
Also, it must be noted that the stunts in this movie are hardcore. The car crashes and real looking fight sequences are all wild. One shot in particular, a car blows up and the door comes flying at the cameraman making for a sick shot but was obviously an accident. An accident that could have been deadly. Yeah, that's a nice pic with Jimmy Wang Yu rockin' the full Adidas tracksuit!

Minus a few slow points this Aus-Chopsocky mash up is one to check out, fo' sho. As usual, enjoy the original theatrical trailer - you'll get a good feel from the trailer how crazy these stunts actually are...

Aka "Dirty 7". Tagline: Whatever the Dirty Dozen did - they do it dirtier!

All the internet buzz seems to be about Quentin Tarantino's remake of Enzo G. Castellari's Inglorious Bastards right now. So, let's go old school for a minute and take a look at the original. I like to use its U.S. VHS title "G.I. Bro" which exploits the afro angle - even though Fred Williamson ain't the star! Too funny.

WWII. A group of American solders in the process of being shipped off to prison manage to escape when a German air attack hits the convoy. They decide to head to Switzerland for refuge only to end up on a commando mission to help the French Underground. They must steal the Nazi's military hardware and bring it back to the Allies without getting arrested again by their own side.
I'm sure QT's version will be completely different (and bloodier) than this version and fuck, I can't wait!
There's also the DVD release of the original coming in a few weeks. 3 discs. Probably including some footage that I was in attendance for. (cause I'm a stank-ass QT whore like that.)

And now for the original theatrical trailer...

Enter Jim "Dragon" Kelly! It's about time I stepped up n' dropped some afro kung-fu on this site. There's no better way to start than with Jim Kelly. Sure, he made a brief appearance in my last post, Mr. No legs, but Black Belt Jones showcases him nicely.

This suckas also directed by Robert Clouse. The mofo behind Enter The Dragon! And Black Belt Jones' got Scatman Crothers to boot.

It's the typical karate master against the mafia story here. Except here we get the Blaxploitation/ Martial Arts mix. Of course the soundtrack is as funky as a batch of collard greens with butter and a splash of hot sauce. BAM!

Just as you might expect - Mr. Jones kicks ass all up n' down the neighborhood car wash for the grand finale. Nice short-shorts.Yet another classic 70's Blaxploitation trailer with a great voice over...

Welcome Home Brother Charles aka Soul Vengeance tells the story of a black man who is thrown in jail and subject to heinous experiments. When his motherfuckin' ass is released he is out for revenge.

Here's the twist, his murder weapon is his penis. Yes, fo' real, he kills with his dick.

This was written & directed by Jamaa Fanaka from the Penitentiary series. This is 70's hood all the way. Shot in Compton and Watts - so you know it's the real deal.

This film is really one black man's love letter to his own genitals. Yeah, it's so ridiculous, it must be seen to be believed.

Someone help this man!!! He's being choked to death by a large black man!Okay, nuff said...here's original trailer:

Every once and while I gotta post a campy sexploitation flick. FACT. Sure these are NSFW, NWS and NSS but really it's only some T&A.

Superchick aka Tara B. True is a stewardess by day and a karate choppin' nymphomanic by night. Nymphos with kung-fu skills rule and that's why the 70's were the shizznit.

The only reason to watch this is for titties and cheesy dialogue. Superchick delivers on both accounts. Two classic sex kittens are exposed in this flick. 70's adult star Candy Samples and Penthouse pet Uschi Digard and she gets a whipping! BCI put this out on their Grindhouse Double Feature DVD series complete with grind trailers and bumpers. Here's the campy trailer...

Jeannie Bell is an old school, chocolate hottie and Playboy Playmate of October 1969. In this film she stars as a karate expert searching for her brother's killer.

One scene is a sleazy, topless cat fight between Jeannie Bell and some other buxom 70's babe. And this cat fight is all kung-fu baby. It works on all levels.

Check the funky-ass trailer...

Here's her Playmate pic...Hot!

Seriously, Jeannie Bell gives Pam Grier a run for her money in dis stank piece o' trash! My question is why'd she cover up her muff in this photo? (And yeah, I went there)
